Care Packages
If there is ever a major disaster that occurs you can count on Kids4Communtiy to create a disaster relief event to create care packages for the individuals affected. Also, we do holiday themed care packages. For example, every December we create stockings for low-income/homeless families.
In the care packages, you would find items like:
- Non-perishable food items
- Hygiene essentials
- School supplies
- Small toys
- Clothing
Some disasters we have done care packages for are:
- Hurricane Harvey: We made around 2000 hygiene kits (toothbrushes, soap, toothpaste, etc.) for individuals affected
- Hurricane Irma: We made around 500 custom shirts and 1000 care packages (toys, hygiene, socks, etc.) for individuals affected.
- Hurricane Maria/Central Mexico Earthquake: We made around 500 custom canvas bags and almost 2000 care packages (clothing, food items, hygiene, toys, etc.) for individuals affected.
